The Democratic Primary will be held on Tuesday, June 11th, and all registered voters in the Braddock District are eligible to vote!

Polls are open on June 11th from 6:00 AM until 7:00 PM, and you will vote at your regular polling location.

Will you be out of town or otherwise unable to vote on June 11th? You qualify to vote absentee! Absentee voting in Virginia requires a reason, such as personal business in another locality (i.e. Fairfax City or Washington, DC). In-person absentee voting is open at the Fairfax County Government Center (12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, VA 22035 (Conference Rooms 2/3)  from 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. Thursdays have extended hours until 7pm. The Government Center will also be open for in-person absentee voting on Saturday June 1, and Saturday, June 8 from 9am-5pm. The West Springfield Governmental Center satellite location (6140 Rolling Road, Springfield, VA 22152) will only be open on Saturday, June 8 from 9am-5pm. In order to vote, you will need a valid photo ID. Examples include a Virginia driver’s license, a US Passport, or an employer-issued ID. All acceptable forms of identification are listed here: https://www.elections.virginia.gov/registration/photo-ids-required-to-vote/index.html
