Fairfax, VA – Today, Virginia State Senator Jennifer Boysko (D-38) endorsed Fairfax County Supervisor James Walkinshaw for Congress in Virginia’s 11th Congressional District, calling him an experienced leader who knows how to get things done.
Senator Boysko pointed to Walkinshaw’s service as Chief of Staff to Congressman Gerry Connolly and as a member of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, as well as their successful working relationship, as key reasons for her support.
“My constituents in Herndon, Reston, Great Falls, Wolf Trap, Vienna, and McLean need a fighter who knows what they’re doing in Congress. We’ve had that in Gerry Connolly, and that’s what we’ll get with James Walkinshaw,” said Senator Boysko. “As Gerry’s Chief of Staff and on the Board of Supervisors, James has delivered progressive results. He knows our community and he knows how to get the job done. I’ve worked with him for years and I’m proud to endorse him.
