WALKINSHAW FOR BRADDOCK SUPERVISOR ANNOUNCES LABOR ENDORSEMENTS
5 Key Unions Join IAFF Local 2068 in Supporting Campaign

James Walkinshaw, Democratic Candidate for Braddock District Supervisor, announced today that the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 400, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 639, the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades District Council 51, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 26, and the Keystone Mountain Lakes Regional Council of Carpenters have joined the Fairfax County Professional Fire Fighters & Paramedics (Local 2068) in endorsing his campaign.

“I’m incredibly proud to have earned the support of the hardworking members of UFCW Local 400, IBT Local 639, IUPAT District Council 51, IBEW Local 26, the KLM Carpenters, and IAFF Local 2068” said Walkinshaw. “I hope to be a strong voice on the Board of Supervisors for fair wages, good benefits, a safe workplace, and the right to form a union.”
