FAIRFAX, VA — Today, Fairfax County Supervisor James Walkinshaw released a new TV and digital ad in his campaign for Congress in Virginia’s 11th District, titled “For Standing Up.”
The ad highlights Walkinshaw’s lifelong public service, his leadership standing up to Trump’s dangerous agenda, and his record of delivering real results for Fairfax County—from protecting federal workers to taking on the NRA.
Last week, Walkinshaw outlined a broad set of campaign priorities—ranging from climate action to affordable housing—with a clear focus on protecting federal workers, defending reproductive health care, and delivering for veterans and their families.

—
James Walkinshaw: I was with my family when I found out.
Trump’s people were threatening me with prison for standing up to them.
I’m James Walkinshaw.
They’re counting on us to back down. But I’ve beaten them before.
I fought alongside Congressman Gerry Connolly to save Obamacare and stand up for federal workers.
On the Fairfax Board, I protected abortion rights and took on the NRA.
Now, I’m running for Congress to take the fight to Trump.
And I approve this ad—because his future is on the line. (camera pans to Walkinshaw’s son)
V/O: James Walkinshaw for Congress.
